Lifeguard?

Lifeguard? This seagull somehow looks really on guard, watching his assigned post very carefully.

A Tree House Project to Keep Our Memories

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Flood® Wood Care. All opinions are 100% mine.

As a child I have always loved climbing trees! What is a backyard without a tree? My boys are almost all grown up now but my one deepest regret is not having allowed them to explore nature more! It is high time our family take on a tree house project where we all could keep our memorable items on display and recycle wooden materials long unused at home. The first thing we have to do is keep those woods looking new!

I found just the right thing we need the other day! Flood products designed to protect, restore and beautify natural wood products. Designed to preserve wood crafts, furniture, walls and fences I think its the best product to use for our "tree house of memories".

This kind of tree house I found on Pinterest is perfect for my kids, the hubby and I. I could picture myself keeping the house's walls stain free through the years with the help of staining made simple guide by Flood products. The cedar wood deck we'd like to recycle with evenly worn finish which absorbs water with currently an opaque color we would like to change to semi-transparent chest nut brown with a second color probably white and also semi-transparent chest nut brown according to Flood® Wood Care specialist needs to  be applied with cleaner or brightener concentrate to remove the grey colors in it and make it looking new as well as a wood finish remover to remove latex, oil and other materials to prepare the wood for a new finish. Finally the flood semi-transparent chestnut brown finish will make our new tree house floor long lasting finish resists fading and ideal for soap and water clean up. The hubby, the kids and I will have a blast inside the tree house I am sure! We will use flood wood care products for the furniture too! The rocking chair from my grandma will get its much needed flood care pampering soon!

I would like to plant ferns and other ornamental plants around our tree house too
like in this tree house posted too at pinterest..

Mulch for Beautiful Blooms

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Scotts Miracle-Gro. All opinions are 100% mine.
My Fuschia At Home
I love wildflowers, is it therefore an excuse for me to let our flowers at home grow and bloom like the wildflowers? Hahah! Actually, though I would love to spend as much time tending our garden, but there is just not enough time. Weekdays, I wake up as early as 5:30 am to get to work. I get home about 4:00 pm. After getting home, I have to cook for dinner and lunch the next day. After cooking, dinner and doing dishes, day is almost over. When some people who I know spend so much time in Facebook(FB) and TV tells me "lucky you have so much time in the world to blog", I would respond, "Because I blog first before FB and TV."

I do blogging first because there is far greater joy and happine$$. :) Though I am thankful for FB for boosting my blog's traffic. On weekends, you probably know I am so busy nature wandering. I would feel so tired if my mind could not relax in the wonders of nature.

The Colors of The Earth

Me @ Petrified Forest National Park, Arizona
Time flies, it has been a week now since I went back to reality after our colorful vacation at the Painted Desert of Arizona. We visited several places, one of them is Petrified Forest National Park. I will write more about Petrified Forest and the rest of our adventures in my later posts. Meanwhile, I am busy confusing myself choosing pictures that will go to my picture CD vacation. I usually make a video of our vacation, integrating pictures and music, then I save it on multiple CDs because I usually send some picture CDs home and to some members of family and friends who ask for them. Very thankfully, I got a simple gift from one member of family for bulk cd duplication, of course, already asking for one copy for him, haha! I am still confused which pictures to put in the CD and I haven't searched for the right music to go with them too.
Here are some pictures from our recent desert vacation in the painted desert of Arizona.
