Of Friends, Flowers and Happy Memories

Happy Memories From Last Weekend

I had been so busy lately that my mind feels so tired to write anything at all to update this blog. I feel like calling everett gaskins hancock for help. Now, you may wonder why need the help of a reliable and trusted "attorneys and counselors at Law" firm? Oh well, maybe, I am trying to dispute some complex business that arise with Mr. G, haha! And I would want it be handled by a firm that is strongly guided by core principles.

Anyway, what has been going on with me lately?

After we got back from our Big Sur-Yosemite-Eastern Sierra trip, I had been entertaining visiting friends almost every weekend. :) I am not complaining as time spent with friends is always, PRICELESS!

Let me share with you one of my fun activities with my friends last Saturday. We had fun photoshooting. What happens when ladies get together in the  midst of flowers? Oh well, priceless fun. Here are the pics I used in the collage above. Of course, the pictures are all about ME! Sorry, this is my blog anyway, haha!

I love our San Diego playground, perhaps the reason we are unstoppable, when it comes to having fun and taking pictures. :)

Nature's Music

Hubby and I love to play nature's music each time we do our yoga exercises. Actually, nature's music is so soothing that even when we are already done with our yoga exercises, we still continue to listen to them. My favorite is the sound of the shores, and the sound of the redwoods forest. As I listen to the nature's music while doing my breathing in and breathing out, I could imagine the leaves softly swaying, and the birds very lovingly serenading the air. I guess, the relaxing sounds of nature makes me love music created by  woodwind instruments such as the flute and clarinet. Ahhh, how I wish sometimes I know how to play them too, I should probably check out  http://www.musiciansfriend.com to shop for some instruments.

OOTD ( 6th in Series) : At Work OOTD

Whew.... it's almost 3 months since my last OOTD post, I had been suffering from blogging block bug and I was not able to shake it off quick. Now, I am here, trying to shake the bug off, hope I could.

This OOTD post may be late, since this was sometime in April. It was a rush met up actually with one of my very close friends from Bacolod who was then visiting San Diego with her aunt and cousin. It was not a planned meet up either. My friend gave me a call a day before that they are coming to San Diego the next day, which was the day we plan to leave after work for our 9 days vacation covering Big Sur,Yosemite National Park and Eastern Sierra.

It has been years since I last saw my friend, because she was also working in another country. Because of that, I told hubby if we could leave later of the night instead, where thankfully, he agreed.

I asked my friend, her cousin ( an ex-student from Philippines), and her aunt that we meet at the mall closest to the school where I teach.

After the mall, I toured them around La Jolla Cove for them to get a glimpse of the seals and sea lions up close.

From La Jolla, we were suppose to go to Sunset Cliffs, however, because of the detour, we ended up in Fort Rosecrans. Cabrillo National Monument was already closed that time because it was already about 5 pm.

Bahama Breeze Here I Come With My Cam!

This post brought to you by Bahama Breeze. All opinions are 100% mine.

I love summer! Sunshine makes each day seem longer and more fun and I just love beach hopping with friends and watching the sunset and yes weekends when I can listen to songs and sip on my favorite drink like there is no tomorrow!

I am planning to get together with my closest friends and I am sure we're going to have a blast taking photos not just of the scenery but of ourselves. Time spent with trusted friends with whom we can be just the way we are, are moments worth capturing. I can almost hear our giggles while taking selfie shots at the Bahama Breeze Summer Beach Bash where a music-filled Saturday awaits us!
One of those friends of mine excitedly shared that this season, there is a new event at Bahama Breeze called Summer Beach Bash.

It truly is the best summer destination for good times! What with the sounds of the Islands brought to the patio and a mojito bar with its lively bartenders concocting perfect drinks completely gearing the summer mood to the happiest level and their exciting frozen drink no less than my all-time fave fruit- PINEAPPLE! The juicy, sweet and sour taste that it has turned into a cocktail makes me wanna dance with glee! I bet the Bahama Breeze Ultimate Pineapple will inspire me to take selfie shots non-stop until I get that perfect angle to share on Instagram. You bet I am a hardcore "selfie" taker and so are my circle of friends. We're betting on who among us will win in the Instagram Selfie contest where one gets the chance to win a $25 Bahama Breeze gift card by simply taking and sharing that awesome photo of yours enjoying the Bahama Breeze Summer Beach Bash using the hashtag #MyBBSelfie. My selfie gadgets are ready for the rush there next Saturday! The event is waiting for you to catch too between now and August 3rd so what are you waiting for? Gather your friends and let's all have fun under the sun! Bahama Breeze Here I come with my ever ready cam!
