A few weeks before our school 2 weeks Christmas break, I was so excited planning for another get-away. I was imagining and dreaming of running into whales, finally taking my dream of a breaching whale up close ( though I have been trying my luck for the nth time, but never got lucky yet to catch a breaching whale with my camera ). I was happily dreaming of snorkeling in warmer water, and hiking in not so warm environment. BUT, a week and half before our break, we had to dump our plans. I will be domesticated both by choice and circumstance in my two weeks staycation. Despite being grounded though, I have no complains whatsoever because I consider the circumstance as a blessing in disguise. Domesticated however does not mean staying inside the house all the time. I still spend time outside since I take my healing from the sounds and sights of nature. I still do enjoy a happy walk around our neighborhood. I also still get to enjoy the healing powers of the sea. I also had been enjoying cooking and maybe would be sharing some recipes later. Anyway, here are some pictures of my domestication which still doesn't show I am home. Haha. After all, OUT is home for me.

And my most favorite part of the staycation? Cooking, baking and eating!! Haha, my students told me before we left off for break that we would all come back 10-20 pounds heavier from all the holiday feasts. I told them, "I won't!" They told me they will behave soooooo good if I won't. Now, I am afraid how they will behave come January 5. :)
